▲The International Digital Assets Council announced on the 5th that the '2022 Healing Concert,' jointly hosted with MNi Culture, concluded successfully.
Held at Daejeon Yeonjeong Court Music Institute, the Healing Concert is an annual music event aimed at providing performance opportunities for emerging artists active in Daejeon.
For this year's event, in collaboration with Gravitrax, the International Digital Assets Council engaged in sponsorship activities utilizing digital assets for the five participating teams (pianist Kim Dana, violinist Kim Suhyun, soprano Park Ji-oh, baritone Lee Young-hoon, and For fun Ensemble). Additionally, to broaden the horizons of emerging artists who require economic support alongside public interest, the Council minted NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) for the artists and facilitated their sale through an NFT marketplace.
Furthermore, they concurrently conducted an airdrop event, creating and distributing '2022 Healing Concert' NFTs for free to attendees. This event aimed to introduce digital assets to local residents. Arts industry figures attending the concert showed considerable interest in the specific methods and processes of the NFT event.
Won Eun-seok, Chairman of the International Digital Assets Council, remarked, "As digital assets spread with a citizen-centered approach, unexpected new applications and uses emerge when encountering target groups with needs, which developers or service providers may not have anticipated." He added, "When such unexpected use cases appear not only in cultural and artistic fields but throughout society, the digital asset market will become even more robust."
Meanwhile, the International Digital Assets Council plans to expand the 'Everyone's NFT' project to provide opportunities for encountering and utilizing digital assets across various sectors of society.
