On March 6th, the International Digital Assets Community (IDAC), chaired by Won Eun-seok from Mokwon University, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local cultural content planner 'Planin' at Hannam University Startup Market. This announcement was made today, March 8th.
Through this partnership agreement, both organizations have agreed to achieve tangible outcomes including:
▲Presenting practical usage models of digital assets through societal dissemination
▲Establishing a healthy ecosystem for digital assets
▲Proposing sustainable models for local cultural content
▲Diversifying models for local cultural content
▲Developing personnel for local cultural content planning
IDAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a healthy digital asset industry and promoting societal activation of digital assets through citizen-centric initiatives. Currently, it aims to establish an ESG platform within the digital asset industry and engages in various social contribution activities based on digital assets.
Planin operates as a cultural content planning company based in Daejeon Metropolitan City, collaborating with local youth organizations to activate cultural arts in the Daejeon area through diverse projects. Notably, since 2016, it has organized and operated 'Moonlit Picnic,' a prominent cultural festival in Daejeon, attracting 350,000 visitors in 2022.
Planin's CEO, Lee Kyung-soo, expressed determination, stating, "One proactive response by local governments to regional imbalance and decline is discovering and establishing local cultural content. I believe that the amount of sustainable local cultural content possessed will become a competitiveness factor for local governments. Through this collaboration, we plan to propose a new operational model for local cultural content based on digital assets."
Chairman Won Eun-seok of the International Digital Assets Council highlighted, "As digital assets increasingly intersect with society, we can create a healthy ecosystem. By integrating digital assets into events such as local cultural festivals where many people gather, we can create a new collaborative structure benefiting both festival organizers and the digital asset industry.
