[The Fair] Reporter Son Ho-joon – The International Digital Asset Committee (IDAC), led by Chairman Won Eun-seok, a professor at Mokwon University, announced on the 19th that it will conduct a program titled "New Opportunities Through Digital Assets: Content Creation Education Using AI and NFTs for Youth" at elementary, middle, and high schools in Daejeon during September and October.
This initiative has been selected as part of the "2024 Daejeon Metropolitan City Nonprofit Civic Activity Support Project" and is supported by the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, the Office of Council Member Lee Joong-ho of the Daejeon Metropolitan Council, Blocore XYZ, and the Daejeon Eastern Multicultural Education Support Center.
The education program involves dispatching IDAC-trained instructors to participating elementary, middle, and high schools in the Daejeon area that apply for the program. Each school will receive two sessions of education. Participating students will explore the uniqueness of digital assets, design characters based on their findings, utilize generative AI to create image content, and transform their creations into NFTs.

Main Educational Content Includes:
▲ Digital Asset Education: Providing information on digital assets, NFTs, and assetization capabilities.
Generative AI Information Education: Covering information about AI and how to utilize generative AI.
▲ Character Planning Workshop: Practical exercises in planning characters that reflect individual uniqueness.
▲ AI-Based Content Creation Education: Training on creating desired images using AI.
▲ NFT Creation and Utilization Workshop: Hands-on practice in creating and utilizing NFTs from the produced images.
▲ Multicultural Awareness Discussion: Presenting and discussing the created characters to compare uniqueness and commonality. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to obtain the "NFT Expert" private certification issued by IDAC if they wish.
Council Member Lee Joong-ho of the Daejeon Metropolitan Council stated, “I am proud that digital asset education, which can create new values, is being pioneered in Daejeon. It is particularly meaningful that education reflecting new trends is being conducted within the public education system. We will continue to pay attention to ensure that not only education but also various digital asset-related services can spread centered around Daejeon.”
Won Eun-seok, Chairman of IDAC, commented, “Recognizing the originality and effectiveness of the education provided by IDAC, we are continuing to conduct digital asset education in public education institutions in 2024 following the success in 2023. By focusing on the core keyword of digital assets, 'assetization capability,' we can plan educational activities integrated with various themes. It is important to develop assetization capabilities through understanding and practical experience with digital assets from a young age, which will contribute to the societal spread of digital assets.”
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 7, at 11:00 AM at the College of Humanities at Mokwon University. Online NFT sales will continue until October 31 following the offline sales event.
