The International Digital Asset Committee (IDAC) announced on the 8th that it has appointed UZNEX, a virtual asset exchange in Uzbekistan, as an external listing evaluation institution.
This appointment is a result of the specific cooperation following the MOU signed with Kovea Group, the operator of UZNEX, in August 2024. As part of the appointment, IDAC will evaluate and identify promising virtual assets both domestically and internationally to help UZNEX facilitate smooth listing and trading services.
IDAC is a non-profit organization focused on creating a healthy digital asset ecosystem by promoting the spread of digital assets across various social sectors, including social contributions, cultural arts, education, and the environment.
Kovea Group, a South Korean company, obtained a virtual asset exchange license in Uzbekistan and has been operating UZNEX since 2021.
UZNEX aims to introduce services such as virtual asset trading and futures trading based on USDT, staking services, issuance of UZNEX cards (VISA/MASTER) linked to the exchange wallet, and NFT market integration by the end of this year through continuous service upgrades.
Won Seok, Chairman of IDAC, stated, "The most important thing to build a healthy digital asset ecosystem is to continuously discover good projects and provide ways for them to be practically used." He added, "We will conduct reliable evaluations by planning accurate evaluation methods to discover high-potential projects and help spread their services."
He also emphasized, "We will actively build a global community and engage in digital asset social contribution activities so that various projects can create synergy with one another."
